There are many ways to get involved with the Youth Commission and help to create positive change in the community:
Come to a meeting

BE ON THE AGENDA - SHARE A CONCERN OR PASSION:
Do you have an issue you'd like the Youth Commission to learn more about or take some action regarding? Ask to be put on a meeting agenda by submitting this form, calling 530-889-7161, or emailing us at placercoyouthcommission@gmail.com.
BECOME A COMMISSIONER
Applications for the 2024-2025 year are NOT YET OPEN. Youth who are 14 to 18 years of age (or in the 9th-12th grade) and reside in Placer County are eligible for appointment. The term length is one year (July 1 - June 30) and youth may serve for a maximum of two terms.
