Youth leaders across Placer County are working to reduce underage drinking and its consequences.  The Placer County Youth Commission has been advocating for local Social Host Ordinances in order to educate and prevent  underage drinking parties.  Broadcasting programs at Whitney and Rocklin have created PSA's on underage drinking.  Del Oro surveyed students and has developed a  social norms poster campaign.  Tahoe youth athletes are taking the lead - educating their teamates about alcohol's negative impact on performance and the importance of being a leader and not letting your team down.
