WHO WE ARE
The Placer County Youth Commission is a group of motivated youth from all over Placer County. Our goal is to improve Placer County by integrating youth voices into local policy making. We research youth issues and concerns, relate our discoveries, ideas, and opinions to local policy makers, and engage the community.
When: 1st & 3rd Wednesday of every month (CURRENTLY POSTPONED)

Apply to join the Placer County Youth Commission! Being a member of the Youth Commission is a great opportunity to make lasting change for Placer County youth. We invite anyone in 9th-12th grade to apply.
The community is encouraged to share both concerns/and or opportunities that affect young people in Placer County with the Youth Commission. The Placer County Youth Commission holds two meetings a month (August-June). All Meetings of the Commission are open to the public and subject to the California Open Meeting laws, known as the "Brown Act", Government Code 54950 et seq.
Do you have an issue you'd like the Youth Commission to learn more about or take some action regarding? Ask to be put on a meeting agenda by submitting this form, or feel free to email at email@example.com or call (530) 889-7161. Individuals can appear unscheduled during public comment yet presentations will be limited to 3 minutes in length and no action is allowed on items.
Business Meetings - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month, 6-8 pm
1st Wednesday meetings are held in the Placer County Board of Supervisors Chambers (175 Fulweiler Ave., Auburn, CA 95603).
3rd Wednesday meetings are held at location in South Placer area to be determined
